“Installing a reverse osmosis plant and heat pump heating system will reduce Marinova’s total energy use by 25% per kilogram of product,” Minister for Innovation and Industry, Richard Marles says.

“The company estimates that annually this initiative will reduce total energy use by 92,000 kilowatt hours, greenhouse gas emissions by 21 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, and recycle 50 per cent of current process water with savings of nearly one megalitre.”
